Dersaadet Hotel Istanbul

“If you can, stay in the penthouse room.”

The place was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it’s practically next to all the historic sites in Istanbul. We stayed in the penthouse, which offered amazing views, was huge, and showcased Turkish décor. The downside was that it’s so close to several mosques that the calls to prayer were loud and overlapping early in the morning; that’s unavoidable but guests should be aware. I also felt the restaurant options on the other side of the Galata Bridge were better. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

“Pleasant hotel in interesting area”

The staff were kind and helpful, the building is an interesting historic property, and the rooftop breakfast offered a lovely view. The room was a bit cramped, which is expected in an old property, and our particular room 305 was quite dark and overlooked.

We had a lovely stay at the Dersaadet hotel, from the exceptional hospitality of the staff to the great Bosphorus views from the breakfast terrace – everything was great. A special thanks to the staff for their helpful recommendations and tips. The only downside was that the breakfast could have included more vegetarian options.
