“Great for one night. Good price. Nice friendly welcome.”
The room was clean, reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly from check‑in to key drop‑off, making it hard to fault them. The heat pump kept it warm and cozy, and there was a thick blanket in the cupboard and a suitcase stand. A nice table with two chairs added to the comfort. Only one teaspoon was provided, which felt odd. The new oven was very clean and easy to use, but the kettle had an exposed wire at the plug, and the toaster was old and dirty. Soundproofing was poor; a neighbor on one side played loud music until midnight, so I had to wear headphones to sleep. The soap dispenser at the bathroom sink was gross and needed replacement, and the wall dispenser in the shower was broken. The sponge left for dishwashing needed replacing. Using the oven would require a cooker hood to vent smells and oils, which wasn’t available. The lounge had new carpet, but everything else was old and needed updating or replacing. It’s fine for a one‑night stay at the price, but staying longer would be depressing.
