After a long day, I returned to the hotel exhausted and the security guard on duty helped me check back in, giving me a key for a new room without mentioning any problem. When I left, another staff member handled my checkout with a passive‑aggressive tone, implying it was my fault for staying in that room and saying, “next time, it shouldn't be like that.” I reminded him that guests shouldn’t be blamed for staff miscommunication and that management should align their team on check‑in procedures, but he stayed dismissive. I’m not an employee, so I’m not responsible for verifying internal room assignments when an employee hands me a key. The hotel’s handling of this internal error was extremely unprofessional, and management clearly needs to train front‑desk staff on basic customer service, a professional tone, and accountability.
