“Wonderful stay.”

Friendly hosts went out of their way to make everything perfect, offering solid tips on local sights and nearby village dinners. The room was cozy with a balcony, comfortable beds, a nice seating area, and a clean bathroom. Wi‑Fi was reliable and fast enough for streaming on the TV. Breakfast ran from 8 to 10 and had plenty of options for everyone. The property sits in a peaceful village, close to a bakery with great pastries and a distillery that offers tours. The hosts speak English and German. Nothing to complain about, just remember the village has no bustling nightlife. If you love nature or history, you’ll enjoy this spot.

We stumbled upon Ohana Bed & Breakfast quite spontaneously and couldn’t have found a better spot. From the first moment we felt completely comfortable and welcomed. Everything is cozy, clean, and lovingly crafted, plus a fantastic breakfast and incredibly warm hosts. The Hawaiian vibe right in the Harz makes it extra special. My daughter and I were thrilled. We’ll gladly return, hopefully soon! Thank you :)

“Eine Woche voller Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft - bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal!”

What stands out is the remarkably open and friendly nature of our hosts. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and given a tour of the property. Both were always concerned about our well‑being and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We were treated to a wonderful breakfast each day and received detailed information about local sights, suitable parking for our outings, directions and hiking routes, as well as which restaurants and eateries are highly recommended. Even in the evenings they made time, if we wanted, to sit together and chat, never being pushy. Our host even hung the Bavarian flag for us upon arrival – we found that funny and very thoughtful. The rooms are being renovated gradually. Even though many furnishings are a bit dated, the absolute cleanliness is striking and you really feel transported back in time. The accommodation is perfect for exploring the nearby area (on foot directly from the property) or by car about an hour to Goslar, Quedlinburg, Teufelsmauer, Grenzweg, Blankenburg, … the Harz has countless possibilities and just waits to be discovered and trekked. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The place was exactly as described – the photos match reality. Only when entering the town of Zorge did we have a brief moment of worry whether this seemingly deserted spot was really the right choice for us.
