“It was okay during the storm but the smell of mold overruled everything”
The staff were lovely, especially the black lady at the front desk who was incredibly helpful—she was a gem! The only downside was a noticeable mold odor.

Nothing positive. The Comfort Inn cancelled my reservation.

The hallways and room smelled awful and had stains on the lamp covers; the carpet looked heavily stained, and the bathroom appeared dirty as well.

I managed to find a room during the storm on 8.11.2026, which was the only reason I stayed there after my home lost power for 14 days and other hotels were full of displaced guests. The property was filthy from the parking lot all the way to the elevator and rooms, with mold everywhere—curtains had visible mold in the seams, and when I asked for them to be removed, the staff suggested spraying them with bleach, which was completely unacceptable. No one, especially someone already dealing with displacement, should have to endure such conditions. The cleanliness and condition of this hotel demand urgent attention, and I even informed the City Inspector about the situation. A thorough inspection and proper mold and sanitation remediation are essential.

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, but the front desk didn’t feel welcoming at all; the customer service left a lot to be desired.
