The hotel was close to Kita‑Matsuya Ryokan’s Kitanokannon, and it was nice that I could use their bath. However, check‑in was at Kita‑Matsuya Ryokan, and on the day of arrival it rained heavily, yet there was no suggestion of a shuttle or any assistance. When I checked in, a male staff member laughed at me while I was soaked.

The location was good, and I enjoyed the free access to the upper‑floor bath at the hotel. The only downside was that there was no dinner; a microwave to heat a bento would have been helpful.
