The breakfast was delicious and I’m very satisfied. Nothing to complain about.

The food was good, and the onsen facilities were the biggest highlight. The location on the river, centered by an 800‑year‑old camphor tree, was great. The place could use a bit of sprucing up, and while the staff were helpful and service‑oriented, a touch more friendliness and warmth would make a big difference.

A unique experience that plunged you straight into authentic Japanese lifestyle with homemade breakfast and dinner. The property might be a bit aging, but the positives far outweigh the negatives.
