“Sonnenberg ist Programm!”

We stayed there in August 2026. Sonnenberg is a must-see, plus the incredible panoramic view of the mountains (the Stone Sea is just behind it). It’s a farm, and the guest rooms are a side business, which you should know. Our room was fully equipped. The hosts were very friendly and instantly felt like family. Breakfast was more than enough and tasty. The value for money is unbeatable! The Google‑Maps directions hadn’t been updated yet, but that didn’t bother us. You need to know that the roads are currently only gravel, some steep. No all‑wheel drive or high ground clearance is required, but I wouldn’t drive a sports car up there.

The view was great, but the place felt somewhat isolated and the owners lived in the same building with their kids, so the smell was off and the pillows were uncomfortable. Cats wandered inside, and the balcony lacked privacy—someone next to me sat there with no barrier, which was a bit scary.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, well‑equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Maria was very kind, welcoming, and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this accommodation and would happily stay here again. Thank you for everything!

“Very friendly owner, nice breakfast and good position to slopes (with a small walk)”

The staff were nice, the location was good, and breakfast was nice. However, breakfast started at 8 am even though the slopes open at 8:30, so it was almost impossible to get there on time.
