The building’s architecture and its central location really impressed us, but the morning buffet was underwhelming. The food selection was thin and the coffee came out lukewarm, which was a let‑down after such a nice setting.

We loved the breakfast – fresh pastries, solid coffee and a decent spread – yet the shower felt cramped and clearly dated. The water pressure was fine, but the tiny enclosure made the whole experience feel old‑fashioned.

The resort feels top‑class and the room was spacious, but the bathroom was a safety nightmare – no anti‑slip mat, a high tub that was hard to climb out of, and a shower that felt equally unsafe. They also forced towel changes every few days according to spa rules, leaving us with damp towels and a weak exhaust fan that didn’t clear the humidity.

The house and its surroundings are beautiful, though the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking and the hair dryer in the room didn’t work at all. Otherwise the setting was pleasant.
