The location was good, just ten minutes to León’s center, and the nearby Don Jacks restaurant is highly recommended. The accommodation was functional but unkempt, and the staff was consistently unfriendly and irritated, except for one helpful employee who assisted with removing an official cockroach from the bathroom. Over two days, my ensuite room had barely any water, and despite knowing that this can happen in Nicaragua, I was surprised that nothing was communicated about it. The overall atmosphere throughout the property was very unpleasant.

“A lovely place to stay in Leon”

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel was very pet-friendly and even had a back area where our dog could roam. We liked the location too, close to the market and central area, and there was safe parking for our motorbikes. We didn’t know about the water shortage during our stay; we could only shower before 6 am or after 8 pm, which worked for us but others might want to know ahead of time. The Wi‑Fi didn’t reach our room, so we used our own data or worked in the common area; that’s not a big deal if you don’t rely on the Internet.

Excellent location just minutes from the cathedral, and the very friendly staff helped us arrange our tours.
