It’s a pleasant spot surrounded by greenery, and the owner is very friendly and accommodating in every way. It’s a bit out of the way, but that makes it very quiet.

I love how friendly and helpful the owner is, but the kitchen is filthy with a lot of lizard droppings, the air‑conditioner malfunctions, and there’s a water leak in the wall.

The spot is gorgeous, and the host greets you with a fresh coconut straight from his garden! We stayed for the last five days and would definitely return. The room is roomy, featuring a huge bed (>2m long), a mosquito net, AC, a table, and more. There's also a kitchen you can use. The host and his family are super welcoming, offering scooter and tuktuk rentals plus plenty of helpful tips. In the end, he even escorted us to the Matara bus station right to the bus door. We loved it here, thank you so much.

This place is close to the main street but far from the noise; the host's service is excellent. It's a quiet spot to relax, and he rented us a motorcycle, provided a tuktuk service, and even left us a bag of fruit on the first day. 🙂

The location is away from the main street, so the area is calm and close to beaches, the train station, and shops. He managed to find us a way to get around without an international license. There was a kitchen for preparing meals and breakfast, and the host was very kind. I strongly recommend Cécile and Hubert. Nothing else.
