How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Breakfast was very limited because there were very few guests to cater for. There was a red curry, weiners, fried eggs and toast available as hot options and a selection of cereals along with coffee, tea and fruit juice. Very basic but enough to start the day. Everything was ok for a hotel in this area.

The room was spacious, staff were friendly. It was very expensive for the state of the hotel and its facilities. Breakfast was sparse and dinner was disappointing.

The pool was a very nice spot, you could also order drinks and snacks at the pool. The staff were particularly kind. The rooms were a bit older, unfortunately there were cockroaches coming from the bathroom. But overall it was a fine stay.

The staff are very considerate and helpful. The facilities are nice. The gym is small, but very well equipped. The karaoke is excellent! The nearest convenience store is 1 km away (which is really weird in Thailand: The land of 7‑Elevens). The food in the restaurant is hit and miss. Some dishes are really good, some really bad, but regardless, the delivery is very slow, and the “American Breakfast” consisted of two fried eggs, a slice of ham lunchmeat, and two chicken hot dogs (no choice) – no restaurant in America would ever serve this as a breakfast. I didn’t go to the rooftop bar and restaurant because I didn’t know it existed, but that must be where the food is prepared for the ground‑level restaurant.

I spent 18 days at this hotel and finished most of my book during that time: 1/ *Ma’ras al-Loz* (the wedding of the almond tree) 2/ *Ala Dhifaf Qaryat al‑Tarafayn* (on the banks of the village of Al‑Tarafayn). After the books were completed and printed, I intended to give each volume to the hotel, hoping they would display them prominently in the reception area as proof that the hotel is a place of creativity and inspiration.
