“not a good place to stay”

The place was close to the airport. It was not clean at all. There was no key to lock the room; the owner promised to leave one under the mat but the room remained unlocked. It was very noisy—you could hear everything. The website claimed a courtesy coach, but when I asked about needing to be at the airport at 5.30am, the owner said that was too early and told me to get a taxi.

“Overall it was what we needed to keep us going while we attended the half marathon.”

The layout was great with separate rooms, and the location was ideal, right between everything we wanted to visit. I liked the bed sizes, though it would have been better to have two large beds since my mother and I don’t share a bed. Air‑conditioned rooms would have been preferable; the oil‑fin heater didn’t warm the rooms well, especially since some knobs didn’t work, and the main light in the second room was broken. I understand perfection is hard, so we managed the hiccups and weren’t too disappointed. Also, someone’s cut nail was on the main bed, and the limited hot‑drink options—just coffee or tea—left out hot chocolate, which is my go‑to.

“it was great as always bonus being close to the supermarket”

I’ve stayed there many times and everything was excellent overall; nothing I didn’t like.
