“Reservation vanished on arrival day”
I booked the room months in advance, but when I called on the day I was due to arrive they said my reservation never appeared. Even though my card had already been charged in dollars, they claimed the payment hadn't cleared, cancelled the booking, and forced me to pay anyway while I frantically searched for somewhere to stay at the last minute.
