The site said check‑in at 1 pm, but I arrived at 1:45 pm after a 6‑hour drive and had to wait until 3:30 pm to sign in at the window. The town offered nothing, and everything in the room smelled like smoke even though it was “non‑smoking”. Lonny smelled like 500 cigarettes and cigarette butts were everywhere in the parking lot. The site claims a non‑smoking policy, yet the door had only a simple lock—no deadbolt or chain—so I could slide a knife or credit card through and open it in less than a minute. It was not safe. Of course, I paid for a non‑refundable room, so I stuck it out. Everything was disappointing.

The property was run down: an old toilet that was plugged, carpet edges with exposed nails, no phone to call the office, and I had to walk to the office. I chose it because the ratings showed 8.6, which turned out to be false advertising.
