We booked a huge poolside room that felt very comfortable, and the pancakes at breakfast were among the best we’ve ever had; the pool itself was fabulous. The only downside was that it’s a bit out of town, so you’ll need transport.

A perfect place to stay before heading out on the Yala safari. We arrived around 14:00 and the check‑in was quick and easy, with staff who were friendly throughout. The room was enormous, as was the bathroom—probably the largest we’ve had on our trip. The pool is fantastic for relaxing in the afternoon and unwinding before the early safari. Plus, the on‑site restaurant means you don’t have to travel elsewhere for meals. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the pool was clean and well maintained. The only issue was that the rooms themselves were not very clean.

The rooms were incredibly spacious and we swam in the excellent pool every day, lounging on the cushioned sunbeds while enjoying the gorgeous lake view; with only three rooms occupied the peace was total and the staff were friendly. The hotel sits a fair distance from the centre, so walking there isn’t practical, the hot water was intermittent—though a cold shower was fine in the heat—and the food was tasty, except the chicken fried rice contained many bones.

The room was great—clean and spacious. Staff were always available and very helpful. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel twice, and the food was fresh and tasty. The pool area was impeccable and cleaned every day.
