It was nice that the host took the initiative to rearrange our room allocation so we had more space. In a place where public transport really doesn’t exist, it was a bit of a downside to have to pay extra for parking.

The hosts were very kind, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and everything was very, very clean.

The location was quiet on the edge of town. The so‑called three‑bedroom of supposedly 22 m² turned out to be a tiny room of about 8 m². The bed under the slanted roof creaked terribly with every movement. The extra sofa couldn’t be unfolded because of the tight space. The supposed bathroom in the room was actually on the hallway and shared with two other small rooms. The toiletries were only a simple soap. The room had just one wall outlet and no light by the bed. Breakfast consisted of three cheap Aldi rolls, some plain cheese and indistinguishable sausage slices, and the only yogurt was a single small sweet Actimel bottle. The only decent thing was a bit of smoked salmon.

A very nice and friendly couple ran the place. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. For a trip to Leipzig it was very central and reachable quickly. The outdoor area was well kept. The bed could have been a bit firmer… otherwise everything was perfect! Parking on the village cost 5 €, which was bearable.
