Having the accommodation right in front of the sea let me enjoy ocean views at any time and hear the waves while having breakfast, which was fantastic. The property showed its age, so some facilities looked a bit worn, but everything was kept clean, so that was fine. However, getting currency exchanged inside the hotel or receiving immediate help when a suitcase lock jammed was difficult.
No major positives. Privacy was lacking and cleaning was absent.
“Just a normal.”
The location and pool were good. Room service was lacking, and there was no daily housekeeping or daily toiletries. The rates were much higher than the walk‑in rates for the same rooms.
“The room was good but the glass door of toilet brings light in the room early morning and the shower area is so deep to”
It’s close to the beach; you can walk from your room straight to the shore. The WC needs work – remove the bath tap, fix the shower cabinets, and stop the water from splashing onto the floor during showers, which is a safety hazard.
“Pleasant stay , good sleep , poolside noisy from building work ,escaped to beach or out and about.”
Air conditioning, a clean room, a comfy bed, and a decent breakfast (especially if you prefer Asian fare – bread, eggs, fruit were great). The beach restaurant was nice and kept us away from the noise of the neighboring construction site. The staff were friendly and helpful – we were friendly to them, unlike some other guests. At night the hotel area was peaceful once the construction stopped; we stayed in room 1109, and the soundproofing was excellent, giving us a good sleep. The pool bar staff brought lovely iced lemon water daily by the pool. We did need an extra balcony chair (each room had only one). The washbasin and shower drainage were slow. We saw a pack of wild dogs on the beach harassing passersby, which was concerning for child safety. The construction noise next door was loud, but after a few days we got used to it, and earbuds helped. There was no tea at breakfast, and they charged 7 MR for it, so be warned! Some staff seemed a bit miserable, probably due to their working conditions; be nice to them and you’ll get the same treatment back.
