“It was great! Perfect location, nice facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and dog friendly :)”

Very convenient to the village, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Because of the altitude, it was quite dry, and one evening my room sink only produced scalding water. The friendly attendant gave me a pitcher of ice water and some cups the next morning, which I appreciated. I’m not sure why that happened, because the next morning I could get cold water from the faucet. I had to fill my dog’s bowl with the shower’s cold setting in the morning.

“Overall terrible. Feels like a motel converted into a hotel.”

The staff is rude and unresponsive. The rooms are old, poorly lit, and you can hear noise from other rooms. The property claims to be pet-friendly for a $150 fee, yet the dog barks once and the staff yells at you; even in grassy areas where dogs are allowed, staff say they prefer the dogs stay off the property. Terrible, and I won’t recommend it.

“It was just one night. I wouldn't stay there again.”

The rooms could use an upgrade; the shower door handle fell off, a sign it’s been there before. My towels were stained, the paint looked old, and the curtain rods and strings were twisted so I spent extra time untangling them.

“Great location, needs to be upgraded.”

The front desk staff were friendly and the décor was unique and well executed, and the location was great. However, the sheets felt scratchy and there was a funky smell, probably because the building is old. The hot water was too hot and stayed hot for a long time, and the keys kept failing, requiring reloading throughout my stay.

“Fun. Perfect location for going to the Adventure Expo, enjoying the Olympic Valley & the mountain.”

We definitely think the place needs renovation, but the staff were excellent and the dinner at the restaurant was tasty. A room safe is essential and should be added during the upgrade. The location is superb and the convenient parking is a big plus, though the overall feel is dated.
