Nothing, the team was unprepared and service was bad from start to finish. The inn is not in a nice spot, it’s on the roadside. The photos on Booking don’t match the place. My experience with Camelot Inn was extremely negative and turned what should have been a calm trip into a true nightmare. Even after presenting all the documentation for my medical service dog, properly identified and documented, the inn refused to allow us entry without properly reviewing the documents. Worse, the stay was charged in full even though we couldn’t use the service. After that, we had to endure a huge hassle to recover the money paid. The service was rude, disrespectful, and filled with contradictory justifications and misinformation. The management showed total unpreparedness, a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. We had to find another last‑minute accommodation during a holiday, in a crowded city with few options, causing massive inconvenience, stress, wasted time, and avoidable losses. The most outrageous part was not just the refusal, but how we were treated and the full charge for a stay we couldn’t use, forcing us to fight later and threaten legal action to recover the wrong amounts. A lamentable experience that ruined our trip and demonstrated, in my opinion, extremely deficient management. I do not recommend the inn, especially to those traveling with a service dog (not a pet) who expect respectful, responsible, professional treatment.

The place looks gorgeous with its King Arthur theme, but the owners’ basic management makes it fall short. The reception café, which should be a complimentary perk at any hotel worldwide, was added to our final bill. Worse still, they charge a 10 % “service fee” on the total stay cost—something I’ve never seen in any hotel. The breakfast is mediocre, comparable to any budget hotel. All in all, it’s a 3‑star hotel with sky‑high prices; stay away. There are plenty of better options in the area that won’t make you feel ripped off.

The location is great, but there is no restaurant on site.

The lodge’s theme is stunning and the facilities are cozy, but the breakfast offered only a few choices; improving that would make it perfect.
