“We enjoyed our stay overall.”
The place is great! The staff were friendly and the property was lovely, but the bathrooms were very small and the breakfast was mediocre.
“Everything was as expected and hoped for!”
The location, cleanliness, and staff were all good. It was great.
“水回りがやや不満。”
The parking lot was handy and the view of the Nese River was great, but the hallway in the separate building felt cramped and the bathroom fixtures in the room were old.
“The worst experience”
I was utterly shocked by how my parents were treated. They arrived around 10:00 PM with a confirmed reservation, only to be told the hotel was fully booked and that the room they had booked was unavailable. They were given a very substandard room that lacked a private toilet, even though they had paid about CAD $900 per night. When I called, I was told they had supposedly booked the “wrong” room and that the room my parents received was actually part of the property, yet no photos of such a room were shown at booking. The room they got looked nothing like the online presentation, which I find extremely misleading. If accurate photos had been provided, we would never have agreed to pay that price. I will attach photos so future guests can see what my parents received. The hotel later reduced the charge for one night, but that does not change the situation. This review is not about a refund; it is about transparency and honesty, and the expectation that a confirmed reservation should match the advertised accommodation. My parents were exhausted after traveling and were left in an uncomfortable, stressful situation late at night. For a hotel charging this amount, the entire experience was completely unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to request exact photos of the specific room they will receive before booking and confirm exactly where they will stay. This was a very disappointing experience that fell far below expectations.
“For a short stay it was fine and the location was excellent.”
The location was excellent, but the dining room felt more like a cafeteria and the atmosphere was not pleasant for eating.
