The location is central, but the breakfast was disappointing: the bar offered old food, the avocado was bad, the crackers tasted stale and were inedible—had to spit them out, the coffee pot wasn’t refilled, the coffee wasn’t hot, there was little variety, and the dining room had few seats.

I’ve stayed here for many years when I visit Yran, and it’s a simple but affordable hotel with pleasant staff; I only need a place to sleep during Yran, so luxury isn’t required—just basic functionality, and the breakfast is fine. However, why did the bacon have to be burned to an unrecognizable state at breakfast?
I stayed in a central spot, could park on a side street, the front desk was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent though the dining area felt a bit cramped – overall a solid hotel.

The rooms were beautiful, the bed was excellent, and the breakfast was very good, but it was very hard to find the hotel if you’re unfamiliar with Östersund; there was a lot of one‑way traffic and road work, Google Maps couldn’t find the way, and I eventually had to get help from a friendly couple in town. Parking near the hotel was also poor.
