“Lovely comfortable room in an amazing building.”
The shower was the best I’ve ever had, and the breakfast was excellent.

The Parador de Benavente is a 12th-century royal castle in Zamora province, converted into a luxurious hotel. It boasts an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, and antique-style rooms with air conditioning. The hotel's Mudejar ceiling and "snail tower" are notable features. Guests can enjoy traditional Zamora cuisine at the on-site restaurant, explore the beautiful gardens, and walk to the Santa María de Azogue Church in 10 minutes.

The staff were close by, but the parking was an issue.

Apart from the comfort of the beds and the pleasant staff, a special shout‑out to Tania, the bar manager, who was truly charming.

Large room with comfy beds, lovely balcony overlooking the hinterland of Benavente. The chairs on the balcony were exceptionally comfortable (so much so my wife and I both fell asleep in them on the first evening after a long day's travel). Staff were pleasant and helpful. We had an excellent cheese platter in the sublime garden restaurant watching a glorious sunset on the second evening. Lovely gardens and promenade area lead quickly to the town with a good variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. In general, the feeling of luxury at a reasonable price. My forever wish is that paradors opened their swimming pools outside of June/July/August. It's a shame to close the pool when you have lovely hot weather in October

The park is lovely, and both breakfast and dinner were very good.
