“Beim nächsten Besuch wählen wir definitiv ein anderes Hotel.”
The hotel’s location near the Old Town is excellent, and on the day of arrival they offered free drinks from the minibar, which would have been nice if the cooling worked. Unfortunately, the minibar didn’t chill, so the drinks were warm, and my glaucoma eye drops couldn’t be kept cold and had to be thrown away—something I really needed. Reception noted the issue, but no repair or room change happened throughout my stay. To make matters worse, the shower water was cold on the first morning; the front desk isn’t staffed until the afternoon, so breakfast staff had to cover, leaving me to brush my teeth with icy water. No apology from management either.

Ich laufe jetzt die zweite Woche meiner Rechnung hinterher. Per Telefon ist niemand erreichbar, heißt es nimmt niemand ab, auf 2 Mails und eine Aufforderung durch reagiert auch niemand und beim Einchecken war niemand in der Lage eine Rechnung zu erzeugen oder später zu versenden. Das ist extrem ärgerlich, da ich sonst immer sehr zufrieden war. Hier gibt es jedenfalls ein Potential für Verbesserung

The hotel’s location is great, right next to the old town. The room size was very good. Unfortunately, we noticed maintenance backlog in many areas, see photos. Breakfast was very expensive (29,90 €/person), and we expected more, e.g. fresh eggs or fresh orange juice, instead of bottled water from a Tetrapack. The service during breakfast was very weak. Used plates piled up on all tables, no one cleared them in between. The staff was completely unstructured and overwhelmed. On our arrival day, the former hotel parking garage was managed by EasyPark. This presented almost unsolvable problems for many older hotel guests. The hotel staff was also completely uninformed.

Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The air conditioning is broken; it leaks and is unusable. The staff is probably aware of the problem. There are water stains on the wall. I received no reply from the hotel to my email about this. Too many cobwebs and a lot of dust on the curtains.

The location right in the middle of town was outstanding, ideal for all activities, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the check‑out was very easy.
