The location is great for going out at night or exploring the Ortigia area, the kitchen can be a bonus, the air conditioning works, the balcony is stunning, the front door is beautiful, and the elevator is convenient. The owner is kind and welcoming, and the price is really good. The décor feels dated, the mattresses are uncomfortable, and the basic breakfast is lacking.
The location is excellent, and the breakfast could be improved with seasonal fruit and/or some local pastries. The WC drain needs repair.
Everything is close by, the view is pretty, and the staff were friendly. The mattress was very soft, and there was no fresh roll or bread.
“Consigliatissimo”
The friendliness of Mr Sergio and the central location (right in front of the Temple of Apollo) make it a great B&B. I found a ZTL zone, but Mr Sergio handled it by immediately giving the local police the licence plate of our car. The bathrooms need to be renewed.
The location, the friendliness, and Sergio’s good disposition were great. The WC cistern was an issue, but we managed to get it working.
