How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
From the exterior to the room everything was absolutely wonderful! The staff were extremely warm, making the whole day enjoyable and comfortable. The underground bath was great because it was available to one group at a time instead of everyone sharing. I had booked with breakfast included, and the English breakfast was delicious; my partner and I were even talking about having dinner there again. The ski slopes are close by, so I hope to visit again in winter.

I appreciate the polite service from the staff. It was a lot of fun chatting with my British husband and his wife. The food was amazing, and the breakfast buffet in the English style was very tasty. The room itself was also really cute. The dining room décor really showcased great taste.

The “Momiji” itself was a stunning space. From the moment I opened the door, excitement kept building… The hospitality from the staff, the meals, the rooms, the lounge, and the small raised area all felt so comfortable that I didn’t want to stay in my room, even though it was lovely. Spending time in the lounge and the raised area was the most pleasant part. The only thing I’d add is that it would be nice to have more dinner options, but the creative dishes made with plenty of local vegetables were so delicious that I can’t say it was lacking.

Even during the Obon period, the atmosphere was calm and I could relax. The food was very tasty, and it was great that both courses and set meals were available. I ended up having dinner at the hotel for the entire trip. The room was spacious, the ceiling high, and it didn’t feel cramped. The location was perfect for touring places like the Kurobe Natural Park, Amagari Mountain, and Shinano Otaichi in central Nagano.
