I liked the customer service, but honestly there wasn’t much else to say.

The place was gorgeous and peaceful, the staff paid close attention, and breakfast was excellent; it was a short visit but I’d definitely stay longer, the vibe is so inviting and cozy you’d never want to leave.

The location was good, but we arrived in winter and it was freezing cold. The hostesses didn’t bother to introduce themselves, and at 9.20 am I couldn’t get breakfast even though I had paid for it. The so‑called chef arrogantly told us we were too late (even though breakfast was advertised until 9.30 am). The electric heater we brought in was too bright and kept us awake all night.

The accommodation was very clean in a secure neighbourhood about ten kilometres from Cape Town centre, the breakfast was excellent and varied, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bedding was very good. The shower was hard to adjust and the TV didn’t work.
