“Met out expectations and really enjoyed our weekend.”
It was ideal for my wife’s 60th birthday. The room looked great and the bed was comfortable. Every meal was excellent. The staff were outstanding.

What an amazing hotel in an absolutely gorgeous setting! It was so calm and relaxing, the perfect spot to unwind. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming and professional. The food was fantastic, with a superb wine selection. Gin lovers should definitely try their Persie Gins. We loved our stay and would come back for sure. Highly recommended!

The bed was very comfortable. The property isn’t a castle – it’s a manor. I had expected a castle with all the trimmings and ended up with a large house. I booked because the description said it was a castle. I actually travelled a long way to stay there and was quite disappointed.

The location, the nature, the historic charm of the building and the good food were all great. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Some of the equipment was a bit outdated.

The grounds were gorgeous, complete with a golf course, and the interior felt cozy and inviting, like a Scottish hunting lodge. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and we stayed in an upgraded four‑poster bedroom that was large and offered a beautiful view of the front grounds. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast options were solid. We would have liked to extend our stay, but everything else was worth every penny. Nothing negative to mention; it was lovely.
