“Lovely, quiet, simple, very pleasant.”

The spot is lovely, quiet, and comfy, yet just a stone’s throw from the S-Bahn and a short walk to several clubs, which is great for late-night returns. The room was simple but comfortable, the bunk bed was sturdy, the shared bathroom was clean, and a towel was provided. A sink and mirror in the room were nice touches. Check‑in worked smoothly without a front desk, and the email with the PIN code arrived on time. The only downside was that having more than one key for multiple people would have been handy, though I understand the inconvenience with physical keys.

The place offered absolutely nothing! The neighborhood, the building (if you can call it that), and especially the room were a complete nightmare. It feels like a typical residential block for the area, not renovated, renting out individual rooms. The rooms are from the 80s with smoke‑stained ceilings and walls, and the furniture has scorch marks. Definitely not recommended!

The room, bathroom, and WC were clean, and being close to the subway station made exploring Berlin a breeze. It was comfortable and very accessible; for one person, it offered calm and peace. The price seemed high for such a small room—just a bed and a TV—especially since it was during the FIBA Women’s World Cup, which explains the cost. I would have preferred a larger room with more space, but it was fine for the three days.

The location and size of the apartment were good, but the bed was a noisy click‑clack and there was no microwave or oven. We had to buy a bath mat to avoid flooding the floor after showers, and the front door latch was broken, forcing us to bend to enter. The linen could have been changed because we stayed 10 nights, and the storage cabinets were worn out. Overall, maintenance and updates were lacking.
