The hotel is a pleasant spot in the best part of the old town, everything was within easy walking distance, and we especially liked that it’s run as a student project – the students run the place and use the profits to fund their studies, which is a great idea.
“Locatie is goed, maar voldoet niet en geen aanrader.”
The location is great, the beds are good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, yet the hotel isn’t accessible with luggage transport, feels unhygienic, has no windows that can open or proper ventilation, is noisy and dated.
Unfortunately no elevator.
“Super beliggenhed.”
The hotel sits right in the center, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly, but the cleaning around the bed was lacking.
“Ideal für einen Kurzbesuch im schönen Lüneburg!”
The tiny hotel is a stone’s throw from the city’s central square, which is defined by its intact brick‑gothic architecture from before World War II; each room has its own character against this backdrop. The main sights of the city are reachable on foot, and a couple of museums dedicated to East Prussia and Immanuel Kant are just a few meters away. Another unique feature is that the “coachman’s room” is operated by students.
