“Mit Abstrichen zu empfehlen.”
Perfect for those who truly enjoy solitude. The farm is right outside the house, and we were kindly allowed to check in at 14.30, which was a blessing on our rainy arrival day—thanks again. Everything was a bit cramped, especially the kitchen. The sofa and armchair take up almost every sense of space and really restrict movement, even to the point of making it hard to use some drawers. The kitchen table is a very small space with barely enough room for three chairs. It used to be just a kitchen, but now it’s full of sofa and armchair. If only the sofa had been nicer. The double bed was, from our point of view, extremely narrow and far too soft; we woke up twice and felt every movement of the other person. Also, having only one blanket for two people was a drawback, though that seems common in Scotland. The bathroom is good, but the door to the hallway hardly closes. The terrace is cool with a great view, but it’s also crowded this time, with a large pool.
“Good option”
Quiet, friendly place to stay and to explore Scotland's Western side. Beds were really comfortable. Well‑equipped kitchen. Owner really helpful and friendly.
“Schottland pur”
“Peaceful country charm yet close to Oban.”
