We loved our hosts and the location was excellent. The toilet was very annoying—quite loud, like a marine toilet.

Excellent host, very helpful. The location is perfect, the place is clean and the room is comfortable. Parking is an issue; you have to climb 60 stairs to get there, which could be tough for some elderly or mobility‑impeded guests.

A nice person to receive us; she knows the game for travelers.

The hosts were wonderful—always cheerful and helpful, offering dinner suggestions and providing maps and other info if needed. The spot was spot-on, just across the Arno, and the window view was lovely. The bed was comfortable with nice linens, and the breakfast was the best we’ve had in the 25 days we spent in Italy; snacks and drinks were available, and the biscotti were unbeatable! The only downside is the 63 steps up to the property—no lift—but that’s fine for us, 69 and 78, if you know it ahead of time.

This charming historic BNB sits away from the city crowds yet is a short walk across the bridge to all of Florence’s sights. The hosts were fantastic, offering great day‑trip and restaurant tips. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the kitchen was handy for tea and fruit or cookies. Thanks to Carolina and Giulia for a wonderful stay!
