“Wer vom vollen Tourismus weg will und abschalten und die Locals kennenlernen möchte, kommt her!”
The place was very quiet, letting you truly unwind. The family were friendly and helpful, and anyone wanting to try a minimalist beach hut would love it. Of course you shouldn’t expect too much, but that’s the point—just the essentials. You can always grab water or coffee, and there are plenty of chairs and hammocks outside to relax. The breakfast was tasty but thin; you only got two types of toast or a large pancake, each with a fried egg, and it wasn’t filling. If you needed a transfer to town, you had to ask repeatedly to confirm arrangements, and we wished the staff had been more proactive with updates. When ordering dinner, half the menu was unavailable, and that wasn’t mentioned until we placed the order. Power outages happened occasionally, but they were fixed quickly once we reported them.
