The room was fine, but the building is on the third floor with no elevator, and the temperature inside was very high.

The evening meal featured especially good Swabian cuisine.

The location was quiet, but the beer garden could use more greenery and some partitions; it felt too open and uncomfortable for me. My daughter and I were looking forward to a nice evening after a long drive, but the terrace was so uninviting that we stayed in our room instead. On those days, we sorely missed an air conditioner.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the playground nearby was great for children. Shops were just in the next town. We stayed here for the second time. In the summer we usually sleep with the windows tilted, but cigarette smoke from the terrace below drifts into the room, so we can only ventilate after midnight. During our last stay, loud partying went on late into the night, and the staff accepted the complaints on the day of departure, hoping to address them. Unfortunately, the O2 network does not work in Niederstolzingen.
