After finally locating the house and sorting out the parking, it’s fine for lovers of historic manor houses; the garden breakfast is okay, and the owner Andrea is friendly. The upper‑floor room is very dark, no windows. The only light comes through the balcony door, which is how you enter the room. The bathroom is very cramped, the shower is a half‑story higher and only reachable via a narrow, steep staircase. The bed was very hard, my wife had severe back pain and could barely sleep. We booked two nights but left after the first night. The owner wrote that we would get a refund for the second night from Booking. We tried to claim it after returning home, but got no money back. Booking tried to get confirmation from the owner, who stopped replying. We would never book here again.

Excellent Bed & Breakfast tucked away from the popular spots. The place is a gem, beautifully restored. The owner is very attentive, caring for every detail to make your stay brilliant. Nice tips for places to visit and restaurants too! Not your standard B&B: climbing the stairs for your shower isn’t for the faint of heart.
