The spot sits atop a hill that’s not really walkable down to the water palace, but they offer a free shuttle on request. We were practically the only guests there, which was odd since the venue is gorgeous and set in stunning scenery. Night and morning traffic noise was present but not too bad. The food was brilliant and fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. The place doesn’t feel touristy at all, unlike most spots where you just hop on a bus to the palace and back the same day. The main perk of staying here is that you get in early before the crowds of tour buses arrive. The fridge would have been nice.
