The friendliness of all staff is especially noteworthy – we rarely experience such warmth. We felt very well taken care of and were able to enjoy our holiday completely.

The location between Bozen and Meran is nice, everything is very clean, and the staff is diligent and friendly. A highlight was the self‑serve beer bar by the pool; it’s a great idea that could be expanded with non‑alcoholic options. I’m not sure if there was a staff shortage, but at breakfast it was sometimes hard to get a coffee; there was no machine or anyone coming by to ask us. Coffee is the first thing I need in the morning, so that was disappointing. The scrambled eggs were always a cold hard shell, and the boiled egg was runny inside, sticky. We’d have liked to eat outside, but at 9.30 the outdoor furniture was still wet from the night’s rain, so we had to eat inside. These are small things, but vacation should be perfect. Also, a small fridge in the room would have been nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mehrhauser and wholeheartedly recommend it. The owners are incredibly warm, friendly and always helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The breakfast was fantastic – a wide selection, everything fresh and truly delicious; it could not have been better. The hotel is also ideal for families with children and for travelers with dogs; our dog was warmly received and we felt completely comfortable. Our six‑year‑old son had a blast, quickly made new friends, and seemed reluctant to leave. The entire property is well‑maintained and clean, and we found nothing to criticize.
