We picked Hetodon Guesthouse for a chill break in Sozopol and it turned out to be a solid choice. The studio had a killer view of the harbor, and the spot was just a 10‑minute walk to the main beach and 15 to the old town – though you’ll hit a lot of stairs, so strollers might struggle. The owner was friendly and always ready to help with anything.

The place is close to the center, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, there’s no parking even though they said there would be, and the welcome mats were a bit dirty.

The hosts were super polite, the rooms were clean and comfy, and the view of the sea with boats and the harbor was amazing. The place had cameras, good security, hot water, Wi‑Fi, AC, a mini fridge, kettle, utensils, good lighting, and a big TV in the bedroom. The only surprise was that the jacuzzi, garden loungers, umbrellas, massage, and infrared sauna were all extra and not included in the price – we still enjoyed the beach and warm sea water though.

The guesthouse is in a great spot, the host is courteous and welcoming, and the studio we used was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view.
