A magical place two hours from Quito. Very easy to get there. The kindness of Leidi and Mr. Núñez. From my side, everything was very good.

I spent the whole day on the porch watching the bird feeder—what a beautiful view. The place feels very casual and relaxing, and the staff were incredibly kind. The food was simple but tasty; besides breakfast, you can order lunch and dinner if you let them know ahead of time. My room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The location is quiet and serene, perfect for decompressing after a couple of weeks of adventure travel. The only downside is that nothing is walkable from the lodge, so if you want to do something during the day without a car you’ll need to arrange a taxi or similar with the staff (the property does offer a birdwatching guide, whitewater rafting, and kayaking excursions). We ended up booking a visit to a local coffee farm—highly recommend it! And if you don’t speak Spanish, have your Google Translate ready.

This ecolodge is a great spot for nature lovers and birdwatchers, with friendly staff and tasty food - although dinner options are a bit limited.

This place is a real gem, tucked away in a fantastic spot. The food's pretty good too, and the rooms are clean and comfy - a great combo. But what really makes it special is breakfast time, when the birdsong fills the air - it's a lovely way to start the day.
