The location and details were great, yet the fridge had a cooling issue.

The location was fine, but finding the place was hard because the address listed was wrong; the service when we called was poor, with unclear answers and a dismissive attitude that happened several times. There were many stairs—about 78 steps—to the apartment and inside it, which wasn't dangerous but was a hassle.

The place was clean and matched the photos, but the person who greeted us was extremely unpleasant, almost insulting us in Italian as if we didn't understand, and the reception and requests made to that person seemed to irritate them greatly.

The location is extraordinary, and the facilities are modern and clean. However, we never received any personal attention, and the host’s communication was only over the phone. In the premises we found a sheet with the accommodation instructions stating that we had to pay the municipal taxes in cash, leaving the money in the room at checkout. We wrote to the host asking for another way to pay those taxes because we didn’t have cash at the time, but he didn’t respond, so we had to find an ATM ourselves, which likely incurred higher fees than the amount we withdrew. Also, at no point were we asked for our ID or DNI to formalise the booking according to Italian regulations for tourists, which made us wonder whether the cash for the taxes would ever reach the municipal coffers.
