A wonderful place to relax and commune with nature—peace and quiet, accompanied by birdsong. In the morning, a rooster serves as your alarm clock. Enjoy pristine water and produce straight from the host's garden, as well as the hostess's charming breeds of chickens. Plus, the hostess bakes delicious cookies! Evenings are perfect for relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine

A warm welcome and handy tips about the house and the area got us settled quickly, and we spent most of our time unwinding in the garden right on the Thaya. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was simply wonderful. We had to drive out to the nearby villages for meals because there’s nothing within walking distance, but that didn’t bother us. We’d definitely come back to this pension.

Everything here feels made with love – whether you’re sitting in the courtyard or lounging in the garden, there are plenty of spots to read or just chill. The surrounding countryside is perfect for hiking and cycling, and the breakfast buffet had enough food, with eggs straight from the on‑site chickens. All in all, a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer.

The location is beautiful and the apartment is tastefully decorated, spotless and equipped with everything you need to unwind after a day of bike rides. It felt like a perfect base for exploring the area on two wheels, and everything just worked. Simply super.
