A good hotel right in the city centre, close to the metro station, the Muslim quarter, the Drum and Shooting Towers. The large colonial‑style lobby contains real palms inside. The spacious room on the 10th floor had windows overlooking the city, which looked beautiful in the evening. The staff were polite and ready to help, and the price‑quality ratio was excellent. The breakfasts were not varied and the food was cold; it needs improvement to match the hotel’s level. The bathroom could use a renovation.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, just a minute’s walk from the metro, the Muslim quarter, and a 7‑Eleven. Nearby there are loads of cafés, restaurants, and shops—right in the centre, the location is definitely superb. The hotel provides everything a tourist might need—brush, paste, shampoo, conditioner, cotton swabs, discs, comb, razor, shaving foam, etc.—and constantly refreshes these items in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent; we’re not new to China, and this hotel offers a good breakfast for Russian tourists with omelets, pancakes, fritters, fruit, and more, so you won’t go hungry. Many Chinese hotels mainly serve Asian food, but this one has a more varied menu, which is another plus. The room was lovely, with a shower and bathtub. There is a free laundry service for tourists, which we didn’t use but checked out. A small gym (treadmill and a few machines) was also available, though we didn’t use it. Overall, a very good impression of the hotel. They arranged an airport transfer at our request. Cleaning and towel replacement were daily, and water bottles were refilled daily. The AC wasn’t working, but the reception fixed it quickly. When we asked, they also brought a separate iron and ironing board to the room, even though these are normally available in the laundry. The cleaning quality from the staff was not very high; the carpet was poorly cleaned even though the cleaner had a vacuum. She didn’t vacuum at all. Also, they sometimes forgot to leave tea and coffee in the room, so we had to ask for a refill. I won’t lower my rating for that, but the hotel should pay attention to these details.

The location was great, the breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. The air‑conditioning didn’t work well, so the room stayed too warm at 26 °C, which was very uncomfortable.
