The furnishings, staff, and equipment were good, but it wasn’t as expected.

The accommodation was good value, clean, and the staff were friendly, but in room 3 the upper part of the window would have been great to blackout.

The pension turned out to be a self‑contained lodging about 200 m from the restaurant, and we ran into a group of young people organized by the Office for Slovaks Abroad; they behaved like a mob—shouting, slamming doors, and blasting loud music until 3 am under the “supervision” of a delegate, which is no excuse if they thought they were alone or if the staff didn’t warn us. It simply isn’t a pension by traditional standards; the website is flashy, but the place looks far less impressive, the grounds are somewhat neglected, and overall it feels abandoned. The restaurant is also empty, and if you’re cooking it’s only for lunch.

The wooden cottage was charming, but it was full of cobwebs, poorly ventilated, and the toilet seat was broken.
