Very good breakfasts and dinners, and the option to have a lunch box for midday. The owner speaks French, English, and Portuguese, so it is very easy to get information. She is also very kind.

Price is a bit lower than other hotels. The worst experience of my life in dealing with the hotel owner. The housekeeper is a stingy old woman who will calculate every bite of breakfast you take. Basically, this hotel offers the most modest breakfast I have ever seen. She personally cooks a fried egg for each guest on request. I asked for a double portion because there was nothing else to eat, and she said she would not cook more than three eggs per person because it was too expensive. I wanted to take an apple and an orange with me after breakfast, and she started shouting that you cannot take anything out because it is so costly. Very bad attitude. Moreover, you get nothing in your room; there is a kettle but no coffee or tea.

We stayed here for two nights during our trip to Madeira and the experience was truly exceptional. The hotel is well cared for, spotless, and immersed in a peaceful atmosphere that allows you to fully relax after a day of exploring. A special thank you goes to Teresa, who prepared a delicious breakfast every morning and a carefully made dinner in the evening. Her kindness and attention made our stay even more enjoyable — we truly felt welcomed. A place we would recommend without hesitation: genuine hospitality, great food, and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home

Excellent breakfast (included in the price) and excellent dinner (paid separately). Clean room with a view of the ocean. Teresa, the host, helped me before arrival in finding a rental car during our stay in Madeira (Compass Car Rental- contact Bruno - highly recommended). She also helped me to find a driver to do the car shuttle for hiking trail PR1.(driver Luis highly recommended). None
