“感謝老屋的陪伴,是一趟心動之旅~”
The experience shattered my past travel expectations (four days, three nights, solo). The century‑old house has a unique charm. Every day I could laugh at the view of the mountains over Keelung from the window, see the bustling old street in the distance, and hear insects, birds, and cicadas outside. The skylight let in daylight that moved slowly inside, and I chased the light and played hide‑and‑seek alone. I didn’t want to leave, just wanted to stay close to myself. Inside, there were many toys: endless CDs, books, cards, radio gadgets, and essential oils, which made life suddenly slow down. I realized how long it had been since I had a proper meal. The building preserved the old house’s history while incorporating new aesthetic elements, and everything was gentle and warm, healing the mind and body. Outside, a cat friend greeted me on the first day. Through the thin glass, its eyes seemed to say, “You’re here!” It paused, and we stared at each other for a long time… feeding the cats became the highlight of each day. Watching them roam freely made me envious. Coming with my usual travel routine, I unexpectedly hit a new spark. The host prepared breakfast, hot soup, rice, and fruit for me. After cleaning and restocking each day, they quietly left, leaving the comfortable house for my exclusive use. Their care was as meticulous as caring for family. I realized this was not just a place to stay, but my home for four days, three nights. If you want to relax, unwind, and feel gently received, don’t miss this place. When the heart is full of joy, the unwanted disappears.
