The location was perfect, but the weather left something to be desired.

My husband and I appreciated the surroundings of the lodge, which was lovely and clean, yet the lodge itself felt off; we had stayed at Tilford a few times and it lacked the rustic brown walls that previous lodges had, instead featuring white walls throughout, no fireplace, an icy and cold vibe, and excessive brightness; we stayed at 24 surt lodge.
