The breakfast buffet was extensive, the staff friendly, and the location central. The promenade music was quite loud, but it only went on until about 10 pm. There’s no fridge or minibar, and the price is a bit high.
“Zimmer mit Meerblick”
The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the breakfast buffet was nice, and the location is very central.
“Clean but with rubber bedsheets, no minibar...and expensive”
The location is great and breakfast starts early (7 am). The room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient. If you need anything while the reception is unmanned, you can go to the neighboring hotel Roth, which is open 24 hrs/day; I didn’t need anything, but it’s nice that the option exists. There is no minibar or electric kettle in the room. The bed was horrible – they have rubber sheets under the regular sheet, and I woke up at least once a day because of that. Breakfast was good in principle, the staff were very friendly and professional, but the food quality and selection were really subpar for a fairly expensive hotel (>200 €/night for my single room) – I had much better breakfasts, for example at Dünnenberg and Wiking. There is zero privacy on the balcony – it’s basically shared with neighboring rooms, only separated by a low glass barrier that anyone, even a small child, could easily climb over and enter your room, especially during a summer heatwave when you’d leave the balcony door ajar.
“Sehr erholsamer Kurzurlaub”
The location is central with a view of the North Sea, the breakfast buffet is lovely, the staff is very friendly, and there’s a sauna.
