“Bello, ma potete fare di più”
It sits in a nice area, a short walk from the small Kalkan beach and many spots to spend evenings. The building is a good restoration of a historic structure. The property is poorly maintained: the wallpaper in the room was peeling in several spots, the room was quite damp; the common area lighting isn’t automated, so if you stay on the first floor you have to manually turn it off to keep the light out of the room; the shared terrace on the upper floor is bare and unadorned. Despite the good view and potential, the stay was underwhelming. We booked for three nights for two people and only received one bottle of shampoo and body wash; nothing was added, towels weren’t changed, and the room wasn’t cleaned, which is normal for a hotel. In short, the place has potential but feels abandoned.
