This grand hotel stood out with its peaceful riverside setting, majestic building, traditional architecture, pool, and art. The restaurant’s food was the real highlight, and breakfast kept changing each day, keeping things interesting. As a pilgrimage spot, it seemed to attract very few western tourists, which made the staff’s friendliness feel even more genuine. Service was wonderful. On the downside, the hotel felt a bit cavernous; the halls were very large and many art or lighting stations were conspicuously empty. Even though it was nice to be the only ones in the restaurant sometimes, that emptiness detracted from the overall atmosphere.

I stayed for 15 days after a brief one‑day visit in Karnewale, and the staff there were amazing, the food and breakfast were very tasty, the room was spacious, the environment was pleasant, and everyone from Vikram Rathod to Dauji the chef, reception, and restaurant staff were all very good—overall a very good experience. There’s no point in disliking anything here.

The location, food, and staff services were solid. The only downside was the bathtub: there was no separate bathing area, so we had to use the bathtub for a bath, which was very inconvenient.

We were initially excited about our booking, but things took a turn for the worse when we arrived at the hotel. The website had promised two meals and breakfast, but the hotel claimed that only one meal was included, leaving us with a whopping extra 2300 rupees to pay per day. To make matters worse, we were also charged an extra 500 rupees for our driver's stay.
