João is very friendly and helpful, often checking on us and ready to assist whenever needed. The chalet is well equipped with a kitchen and basic utensils, and everything is clean and impeccable. It’s only 200 meters from the sea, a good location near a market and bakery, and you can walk to the little town either along the beach or the main street. The beach is a bit rough compared to others in the area, but it’s still enjoyable at both low and high tide. All in all, the 10 days were very pleasant.

A beautiful place with top‑quality facilities; I slept very comfortably, the garden is lovely, the beach is nearby, and it feels very safe. One night a lady tried to enter; I tried to open the door, she didn’t seem dangerous but was quite curious.

Great value for money. It’s very far from the center of Caraíva, only reachable by a buggy that costs 50 reais each way. The bathroom drain clogged a lot because there’s no drainage, so I had to keep scooping water with a bucket.
